Heart Disease a Woman’s Worst Enemy. Feb 2007 volume 2, number 2 pages 25-29

Cardiovascular disease is the number one killer among women over the age of twenty-five. Thirty-eight percent of women compared to twenty-five percent of men will die within one year following a heart attack. Nearly thirty-nine percent of all female deaths in America occur from cardiovascular disease which includes coronary heart disease and stroke.

Maintaining a positive attitude can be difficult for some people. It has to become a way of life to keep that smile and positive energy going most of the time I use the saying “Turning Lemons into Lemonade” a lot. If you think about it, it really can be used for just about any sour situation. You put a little sugar into the mix and you get the lemonade. The challenge is…What is the sugar in the situation? Sometimes it’s just a smile, sometimes it a good thought, sometimes it’s saying something nice to or about someone and sometimes, it takes extra effort to come up with what the sugar is in the situation.
